Intervention 1: In case group , use of zinc sulfate (1mg/kg) once a day for 10 days. Intervention 2: Control group did not receive Zinc Sulfate.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: children between 1 to 7 years old diagnosed by a pediatrician as having common cold based on symptoms; not receiving antibiotics. Exclusion criteria: parents not willing to participate in the study and antibiotic use.
