Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: women older than 18 with at least 15 teeth, history of pre-eclampsia, between 20 to 28 week of pregnancy, presence of generalized moderate to severe chronic periodontitis Exclusion criteria: systemic &/or organic problem such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular problem, positive HIV, renal diseases, uterus defect, consumption of prophylactic antibiotics, drugs with gingival effect such as phenytoin, cyclosporine, or NSAIDs, smokers, alcoholic people, multigestation pregnancy, periodontal therapy during 6 months prior to the study

Pre-eclampsia. Timepoint: each month. Method of measurement: Assessment of blood pressure using sphygmomanometer (mm/hg) & urine test to detect proteinuria+1.
