Intervention 1: Diclofenac 25 mg bid for 2 weeks. Intervention 2: Carbamazepin 50 mg bid for 3 days and then 100 mg bid until 2 weeks. Intervention 3: Placebo 1 tab bid for 2 weeks.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: clinical diagnosis of osteoarthritis according to an internist or orthopedist visit, presence of radiographic criteria, age equal or more than 40 years, at least 3 months passed from the onset of disease, Any contradiction for prescription of Carbamazepin or Diclofenac Exclusion Criteria: not willing to continue, intolerance to drug therapy, incidence of side effects to Carbamazepin or Diclofenac
