Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: Patients with unilateral impacted lower Third molar and no systemic problem and also not used any analgesic, antibiotic, corticosteroid, and sedative drug at least for fifteen days before surgery were registered at the surgery department of dentistry faculty of Tehran university of Medical science in 2009. Exclusion criteria: Low compliant patients Not attending at the expected time of measurement

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Swelling. Timepoint: before surgery-48 h after surgery-7 days after surgery. Method of measurement: Using a flexible ferule - aggregate of tragus to lip commissure with tragus to pogonion divided by 2.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Wound healing. Timepoint: before surgery-48 h after surgery-7 days after surgery. Method of measurement: observation by two maxillofacial surgeon.
