Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Choledocholithiasis (definition below) - Age =18 years - Written informed consent Definition of choledocholithiasis, at least 2 of the following criteria: - Choledocholithiasis (proven on CT/US/MR) - Colic pain - Bilirubin = 40 µmol/L OR ALAT = 2 times upper limit Are the trial subjects under 18? no Number of subjects for this age range: F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range 250 F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) yes F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range 100
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Patients already using Tamsulosin - Patients participating in other trials - Pregnancy (description procedure below) - Patients presenting with a pancreatitis - Patients with a previous papillotomy
