Inclusion criteria: Male sex Age 18-65 years BMI 20-26 kg/m2 Fasting plasma glucose less than 6.1 mmol/l Normal oral glucose tolerance test Are the trial subjects under 18? no Number of subjects for this age range: F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range 15 F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) no F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: BMI above 26 or below 20. Low or high blood pressure. Asthma or other obstructive lung disease. Sick sinus syndrome, prolonged QT-interval, or any heart disease. Any chronic disease (eg. inflammatory bowel disease or a history of pancreatitis) or medication (eg. beta-blocker, thyroxine, cortisone, oestrogen, progesterone or anticholinergic medications) that could affect the study outcome or pose a risk to subjects. Mental disorder or poor compliance. Eating disorder or excessive use of alcohol, tobacco smoking or drug use. Past dose of radiation in PET studies. Metal, such as pacemaker or surgical steel, in body. Any other condition that in the opinion of the investigator could create a hazard to the subject’s safety, endanger the study procedures or interfere with the interpretation of study results.

Main Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of secretin on BAT and other tissues. Our hypothesis is that secretin activates BAT. Therefore we will compare BAT perfusion and glucose uptake during secretin and cold activation with placebo in healthy humans, using PET-CT scanning of cervical, thoracic, abdominal and brain areas. We will also investigate full body energy expenditure with calorimetry during scans in these three different conditions, as well as at baseline.;Secondary Objective: Not applicable.;Primary end point(s): Not applicable;Timepoint(s) of evaluation of this end point: Not applicable
