Patients who have had chemotherapy or radiotherapy within 4 weeks (6 weeks for nitrosoureas or mitomycin C) prior to entering the study or those who have not recovered from adverse events due to agents administered more than 4 weeks earlier. 2.Participation in another clinical trial with any investigational agents within 30 days prior to study screening. 3.Previous treatment with Gemcitabine or Pemetrexed. 4.History of allergic reactions attributed to compounds of similar chemical or biologic composition to Gemcitabine and/or Pemetrexed or other agents used in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Main Objective: The primary objective of the study is to determine the objective response rate (ORR: CR+PR+SD);Secondary Objective: - to assess safety and tolerability of the drugs combination; - to determine the time to progression (TTP) and overall survival (OS) of treated patients;Primary end point(s): The primary endpoint of the study is to assess the objective response rate (ORR: CR+PR+SD) in treated patients.;Timepoint(s) of evaluation of this end point: 24 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary end point(s): Secondary endpoints are toxicity, time to progression (TTP) and overall survival (OS).;Timepoint(s) of evaluation of this end point: 24 months
