Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. written informed consent 2. schizophrenic patients (according to ICD-10) and healthy controls 3. aged 18 to 55 (patients and healthy subjects) Are the trial subjects under 18? no Number of subjects for this age range: F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) no F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: substance abuse, any kind of neurological or psychiatric disorder despite schizophrenia, somatic disorders of clinical relevance, allergy against serdolect or risperdal, metal in the body (e.g. implants), cardiac pacemaker, pregnancy, lactation, agoraphobia

Main Objective: Aim of this study is to investigate neural activity associated with anticipation and receipt of a financial gain or loss, respectively, and to examine the influence of Sertindol (Serdolect ©) and Risperidon (Risperdal ©) on these processes. ;Secondary Objective: ;Primary end point(s): Neuronal activity (Bold-signal; PET) in schizophrenic patients before and after treatment with atypic neuroleptica (serdolect; risperdal)
