Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Main Objective: Investigate the effect of atorvastatin on renal haemodynamics, renal tubular function, vasoactive hormones, bloodpressure and heartrate in healthy humans.;Secondary Objective: Analyse if changes in renal haemodynamics, renal tubular function, vasoactive hormones, bloodpressure and heartrate under treatment with atorvastatin depends on saltcontent in diet in healthy humans.;Primary end point(s): Changes in glomerular filtration rate, clearance of sodium and lithium, fractional excretion of sodium and lithium, urin koncentration of aquapurin-2, total sodium excretion and free water clearance. Changes in koncentration of vasopressin, angiotensin II, aldosterone, atrial- and brain natriuric peptide, renin, bloodpressure and heartrate.
