Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective or urgent first time or re-do coronary artery bypass surgery. Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients known for atrial fibrillation, unstable patients undergoing emergency operation, patients with renal and pulmonary dysfunction, insulin dependent diabetic patients and combined surgical procedure e.g. CABG and valve surgery.
