Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: High alcohol consumption, defined as 400 grams or more of 100% alcohol per week. Male gender. 18-65 years of age. Are the trial subjects under 18? no Number of subjects for this age range: F.1.2 Adults (18-64 years) yes F.1.2.1 Number of subjects for this age range F.1.3 Elderly (>=65 years) no F.1.3.1 Number of subjects for this age range

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Ongoing psychiatric disorder. Ongoing somatic disorder of a serious kind. Medication. Ongoing drug abuse (other than alcohol and nicotine). Poor knowledge of the swedish language. Weight below 60 kg or overweight (BMI 30).

Is it possible to obtain high compliance in a self-managed oral treatment for high alcohol consumption?;Secondary Objective: Is it possible to influence nicotine use and impulsivity by orally administer a drug with central adrenergic effects and effects on serotonergic transmission?
