Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The isometric hip muscle strength, measured using dynamometry, the activity of the pelvic floor muscles, measured using surface electromyography (sEMG) and the strength of the pelvic floor muscles, measured using manometry, are measured once in the control group (Arm 1) and three times in the other two groups (6 weeks, 12 weeks, and 6 months postpartum).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess pelvic floor dysfunction, the German Pelvic Floor Questionnaire is administered once to the control group (Arm 1) and three times to the other two groups (6 weeks, 12 weeks, and 6 months postpartum).
