Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Attended the whole pulmonary rehabilitation programme - Took a 6MWT at the beginning and end of the programme. - Signed the general consent of the municipal Hospital Zurich or the study-specific consent form. - Have a diagnosis of COPD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Did not sign a consent form - Had an interruption in attendance of the PR for more than 2 weeks. - Are diagnosed with significant cardiovascular disease limiting the performance in PR and/or 6MWT, defined as training restriction by physician’s orders or inability to train beyond BORG 3/10. This limits the usual endurance-training intensity to BORG 6/10 in COPD patients and can lead to underachievement in terms of improvement - Showed sign of significant musculoskeletal disease limitation in 6MWT, defined as: performance limited by pain, as this is an external limiting factor, unrelated to COPD.
