Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants aged 12–17 years, actively participating in organized basketball training, able to understand study instructions, and providing written informed consent (participants and parents/legal guardians where applicable).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of neurological or psychiatric disorders, visual impairments not corrected by lenses, musculoskeletal injuries preventing participation, previous experience with the intervention, or inability to complete the study protocol.

MeasureTime frame
Change in selective and sustained attention from baseline to post-intervention, assessed using the d2-R Test of Attention immediately before the first intervention session and immediately after completion of the 3-week mixed reality intervention. Primary outcomes include selective attention, processing speed (BZO), concentration performance (KL), and error percentage (F%).

Feasibility and acceptability outcomes including recruitment rate, participant adherence, intervention completion rate, usability, user satisfaction, and qualitative feedback collected throughout the intervention using study-specific questionnaires and attendance records.
