Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Histologically confirmed phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor (PMT). Clinically and biochemically confirmed tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO). Availability of complete histopathological and clinical routine data, including imaging and surgical documentation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Missing or insufficient histopathological or clinical records preventing assessment of the primary study endpoints. Tumors without evidence of tumor-induced osteomalacia or without histological confirmation of a phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor.

MeasureTime frame
Comprehensive clinicopathologic characterization of phosphaturic mesenchymal tumors (PMTs) associated with tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO), including histopathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular (DNA- and RNA-based) findings and their correlation with clinical characteristics.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Characterization of the clinical presentation, biochemical parameters (including serum phosphate and FGF23), and imaging findings. Correlation of histopathological features with molecular alterations (e.g., FN1::FGFR1 fusions) and clinical parameters. Evaluation of the impact of preoperative arterial embolization on tumor histomorphology. Description of surgical outcomes and postoperative biochemical and clinical recovery. Exploration of associations between molecular findings and clinicopathological characteristics.
