Group 1: Intervention group: Provision of an e-bike for the daily commute to therapy as well as for optional use during leisure time. Group 2: Control group: Standard transport
does not receive an e-bike.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Planned adjuvant radiotherapy • Ability to ride a bicycle • Ability to understand and complete questionnaires • Written informed consent • Place of residence within 20 km of the MHH

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Medical contraindications to physical activity • Relevant mobility limitations • Unsafe cycling ability • Elite athletes • Place of residence relative to MHH (distance of more than 20 km)

• Physical activity (BSA activity questionnaire, fitness tracker (Garmin Vivoactive 5), training log) • Quality of life (EORTC QLQ-C30) • Safety (adverse events) • Perceived exertion associated with the daily commute for therapy (Borg scale) • Patient satisfaction with the mode of transport or the e-bike intervention (questions in the training log, final page) • Treatment adherence, defined as attendance at scheduled radiation appointments and (in the intervention group) use of the e-bike (fitness tracker + training log)
