| The aim of this study is to investigate whether individual attitudes and perceptions of dementia (views on dementia) influence the intention to engage in dementia risk reduction among adults aged 50 years or older and whether this relationship is mediated by health beliefs as conceptualised in the Health Belief Model. The study is also investigating whether perceptions of dementia influence health beliefs. The following questionnaires are used: Dementia Stigma Assessment Scale (DSAS), Approach to Dementia Questionnaire (ADQ), Motivation to Change Lifestyle and Health Behaviours for Dementia Risk Reduction Scale (MCLHB-DRR) | — |
