Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 tooth per patient with persisting probing pocket depth = 6 mm. Periodontal recall patients.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic diseases, intake of antibiotics/antimycotics, compromised immune system, smoking, pregnancy/nursing, participation in other clinical studies.

MeasureTime frame
Detection of periodontitis-associated microorganisms in subgingival or supragingival samples from subjects with periodontitis using culture/culturomics and sequencing/identification. After sample collection during oral/dental examination/treatment and successful cultivation/detection. Cultivation/culturomics and sequencing/identification (MALDI-TOF MS, 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing, shotgun metagenomic sequencing)
