Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over the age of 18 with wisdom teeth located near a nerve, who are at risk of nerve damage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Predisposition to wound infection (diabetes, immunosuppression, HIV, chemotherapy, radiation, osteoporosis/osteosclerosis), systemic infection, existing nerve damage/hypoesthesia, neuromuscular defects, non-vital molars

Assessment of nerve injury through quantification of hypoesthesia with von Frey filaments

- NRS as a pain scale - Quality of life (European Quality of Life 5 Dimensions 5 Level Version (EQ5D5L), Oral Health Impact Profile (OHIP-G 14), Picker Patient Experience Questionnaire (PEQ)) - Complications (infection, reoperation, dehiscence, root migration)
