Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Hospitalized patients aged = 65 years • Hospitalized patients with peripheral arterial disease (Fontaine stage III or IV) • Hospitalized patients with carotid artery stenosis • Hospitalized patients with aortic pathology (aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm, or penetrating aortic ulcer) • Patients treated at the participating study centers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Patients younger than 65 years • Patients treated for other underlying conditions

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint is the systematic identification of geriatric patients in vascular surgery using standardized screening tools.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints include the systematic analysis of clinical outcomes, particularly with regard to in-hospital complications and mortality.
