Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age = 18 years Signed informed consent form from the patient Confirmed atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease: • coronary heart disease and/or cerebrovascular occlusive disease (cAVK) and/or peripheral arterial occlusive disease (pAVK) confirmed by: - Imaging (CT, carotid duplex ultrasound, MRA) - invasive diagnostics (coronary angiography, PCI) Current hsCRP result available (< 3 months) hsCRP measured outside the context of an acute illness

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Existing pregnancy Currently active cancer Current acute infection Immunomodulatory / immunosuppressive treatment (e.g. for COPD, rheumatic conditions, autoimmune diseases)

- Prevalence of elevated hsCRP levels (= 2 mg/l) among patients undergoing outpatient secondary cardiological prevention in Germany under real-world conditions - Description of the distribution of hsCRP levels within the study cohort

- Description of the clinical and demographic characteristics of patients with elevated hsCRP levels compared with patients with normal hsCRP levels - Analysis of the relationship between hsCRP levels and therapeutic decisions in everyday clinical practice (e.g. adjustment of lipid-lowering therapy, initiation or intensification of pharmacological treatment) - Changes in hsCRP levels over time (12 and 24 months)
