Group 1: Standard postoperative treatment (Control Group):
- 2 weeks of non-weight-bearing in a walker boot (e.g., Vacoped)
- Followed by 20 kg partial weight-bearing in the walker boot for 4 weeks

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients undergoing foot and ankle surgery followed by the above-mentioned postoperative protocol.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Polyneuropathy - Wheelchair dependence - Dementia
