Conditions

Patients with hematologic diseases who have an indication for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. TBI is administered as part of the conditioning regimen. The subject of the study is the evaluation of the routine implenetation of the irradiation technique

Interventions

Group 1: Patients will receive the clinically indicated TBI as part of the conditioning regimen prior to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation using a newly implemented combined VMAT/IMRT technique.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Planned TBI as part of a conditioning regimen prior to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH), Kiel Campus Written informed consent for study participation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Age < 18 years - Lack of informed consent for study participation - Legal incapacity or inability to provide informed consent independently

Operationalized by: - Achievement of the predefined dosimetric planning criteria - Successful completion of patient-specific quality assurance - Technical feasibility of all treatment sessions without significant deviations
