Inclusion criteria: Age =18 years ICD codes: C00–C97 AND I21 within the first 3 years after start of therapy due to C00–C97 OR OPS codes: 8-837.a / 8-837.k / 8-837.m / 8-837.w

MeasureTime frame
What: Occurrence of acute myocardial infarction and/or need for acute coronary revascularization/coronary intervention in patients with malignant disease. When: Within 3 years after initial diagnosis of malignancy or initiation of antineoplastic therapy. How: Retrospective assessment using already existing routine clinical data, including ICD diagnosis codes, OPS procedure codes, clinical documentation, cardiac catheterization reports, discharge letters, and other available treatment data. Measurement/assessment method: Database query and retrospective analysis of the electronic patient record and/or clinical documentation systems.

Association between cancer type and the need for coronary intervention. Association between antineoplastic therapy and the need for coronary intervention. Association between serum biomarkers and the need for coronary intervention. Association between coronary artery calcification on staging CT and the need for coronary intervention.
