Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of performance on the simulation model (prompt test) between the control and experimental groups. Performance is assessed by examining a standardised obstetric palpation model. Participants document their examination findings both in drawings and in writing. The assessment is carried out using a predefined scoring matrix, which evaluates the degree to which the recorded findings correspond to the actual findings on the palpation model. The assessment is conducted in both groups at the same interval following the post-test.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Midwifery students exhibit varying thresholds of tactile perception and spatial awareness at the start of their course. 2. These differences influence the analysis of obstetric structures when palpating an obstetric simulation model.
