Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Identification and characterization of microbial and immunological markers in different intraoral tissues and niches. Primary outcomes include microbial profiles (composition and functional characteristics) and their associations with immunological parameters. Data are collected at the time of routine sample acquisition using microbiological, molecular biological, and immunological analyses of the collected biospecimens. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Establishment of standardized workflows for biospecimen collection and processing and identification of molecular profiles (microbiome, metagenome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome) in different intraoral tissues, niches, and inflammatory oral diseases. Outcomes are assessed using clinical data and biospecimen analyses collected throughout the study period. | — |
