Group 1: Retrospective analysis of all patients who developed atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. In addition, a one-time questionnaire-based survey will be conducted

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • Presentation to the emergency department • Documented or promptly objectively confirmed atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter • Sufficiently precise determination of the time of symptom onset
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • No objective documentation of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter • Missing or non-usable information regarding the onset of the event • Atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter events likely related to a surgical procedure within the past 30 days • Atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter events occurring within 90 days after catheter ablation of atrial arrhythmias (blanking period) • Known permanent atrial fibrillation
