Group 1: Completing the first part of the questionnaire (approx. 2 min), presentation of the animated “edutainment” video that provides information about colorectal cancer and the preventive benefits

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. German-speaking and resident in Germany b. Adult = 50 years of age c. Never participated in a colorectal cancer screening

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Not German-speaking b. Not resident in Germany c. Adults under 50 years of age d. Have participated in a colorectal cancer screening

MeasureTime frame
Assessment of participants' behavioral expectations to undergo a preventive colonoscopy in the next six months using a continuous slider in the online questionnaire, both before and after the presentation of the animated “edutainment” video (intervention) or the informational brochure (control)

Assessment of the video’s effectiveness in positively influencing attitudes and beliefs towards, and knowledge about CRC screening
