Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: o Age = 18 years o Lumbar disc herniation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: o Multiple trauma (ISS > 16) o Surgery for tumors, infections, or revision procedures o Incomplete diagnostic workup

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint of the study is the change in the modified disc height index (mDHI) between preoperative imaging and the radiological follow-up at 12 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints include the occurrence of radiographic signs of segmental instability, including sagittal translations, changes in segmental angular relationships, retrolisthesis or spondylolisthesis, as well as degenerative changes in the intervertebral disc and adjacent structures.
