Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Implantation of a total hip arthroplasty Between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 Performed by a single defined primary surgeon (single-surgeon study)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Implantation of a total hip arthroplasty in the presence of acute fractures, tumors, or metastases Previous or active infection of the affected hip joint Simultaneous bilateral surgical treatment Presence of retained osteosynthesis material in the affected hip joint

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Patient satisfaction after primary total hip arthroplasty, measured by the change in PROMs between the preoperative assessment and the 12-month follow-up (WOMAC score and EuroQol EQ-5D).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Change in the individual geometric parameters (CCD angle, femoral offset, acetabular offset, total offset, axial alignment of the center of rotation, leg length) in the pre- to postoperative comparison Functional outcome 3 months postoperatively (clinical functional parameters) Postoperative complications during inpatient stay (dislocation, wound healing disorder, infection, periprosthetic fracture, revision surgery) Complications within 12 months postoperatively (dislocation, wound healing disorder, infection, periprosthetic fracture, revision surgery)
