Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Our study will include healthy human participants with normal or corrected-to-normal vision and normal hearing. Since some conditions of our study involves listening to German speech materials (e.g., words and short sentences), participants need to be native speakers of German or have native-level proficiency in German.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The typical exclusion criteria for psychological studies will apply. In particular, participants will be excluded in case of: - Psychological, psychiatric or neurological diagnoses or treatments, acute or chronic - Current use of medication that potentially influences brain activity - Acute influence of alcohol or drugs Additionally, the standard exclusion criteria for MEG and MRI recordings, as outlined here, will be applied: - Having a pacemaker, neurostimulator or insulin pumps - Having any (surgical) metal implants or prosthesis (this includes retainers – wire behind teeth; braces; metal plates, screws, splinters; fusion pump; aneurism clips; joint replacements; etc) - Having any non-removable dentures or braces - Having any permanent make-up - Having any tattoos - Having a metal-containing IUD (intra-uterine device) - Being claustrophobic
