Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Age: 18 years or older -Elective bypass surgery (TCRAT procedure) -Urgent surgeries classified as N06, N12, N24, or N48

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Emergency surgeries, classification N01 -Patients with chronic pain -Ongoing intensive care without the ability to collect data -Incomplete documentation

MeasureTime frame
-Cumulative opioid consumption measured in morphine milligram equivalents during the first 72 hours postoperatively. -Opioid consumption measured in morphine milligram equivalents, broken down by the first through third postoperative day (POD), -Cumulative consumption of peripheral analgesics (mg, number of medications, and administration times and modes: “scheduled” vs. “on demand”) during the first 72 hours postoperatively. -Pain intensity (NRS) throughout the inpatient stay.

MeasureTime frame
-Intraoperative opioids and peripheral analgesics administered by the cardiac anesthesiologists (from induction until transport to the intensive care unit begins). -Time of extubation in the intensive care unit in hours after admission (= 6 h, > 6 to = 12 h, > 12 to = 24 h) -Influence of age (in years), sex, and BMI on the required analgesic medication -Duration of the surgical procedure (in minutes: incision-to-suture time) -Length of stay in the ICU/IMC -Total postoperative hospital stay -Differences in opioid consumption compared to the literature in patients undergoing coronary revascularization via sternotomy
