| The objective of the study is to identify and prioritise the most important research questions in paediatric anaesthesia and perioperative medicine from the perspective of children and young people in Germany and in international comparison. In an initial anonymous online survey, participants will submit free-text research ideas. Subsequently, the thematically collated research topics will be prioritised and ranked by participants in a second online survey. In some participating countries, an additional moderated consensus process may be conducted to establish the final research priorities. The primary study outcome is the development of national top-10 priority lists for paediatric anaesthesia and perioperative medicine research identified by children and young people for each participating country. Data collection will be performed using anonymous online questionnaires and, where applicable, additional consensus workshops based on James Lind Alliance-inspired methodology. | — |
