Analytical methods for the main research questions (exploratory approach): Metabolomic, proteomic, and transcriptomic analyses of patient samples are planned. The results of these investigations will be experimentally validated. Exact definition of the endpoints: From a clinical perspective, the endpoints are the occurrence (or new onset) of cardiovascular events: Coronary artery disease: - Initial diagnosis - Revascularization - Acute coronary syndrome - STEMI -NSTEMI - Unstable angina pectoris - Newly diagnosed heart failure with reduced ejection fraction - Newly diagnosed heart failure with preserved ejection fraction - Hospitalization due to heart failure Aortic aneurysm - Initial diagnosis - Progression on imaging studies - Dissection / rupture - Surgical / interventional treatment Aortic valve stenosis -Initial diagnosis -Progression on imaging studies -Hospitalization due to decompensation -Surgical / interventional treatment Atrial fibrillation -Initial diagnosis -Hospitalization due to decompensation -Intensification of antiarrhythmic therapy -Catheter ablation -Recurrence Residual renal function Dialysis-specific vascular complications Arteriovenous fistula complications Death from any cause -Cardiovascular death -Renal death
