Group 2: Control group: continuation of the omnivorous diet

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Consumption of at least 5x meat per Week - Medium or high risk intraabdominal elective surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Less than 15 days until index surgery - Dialysis or chronic kidney disease stage 5 or kidney surgery - Expected non-adherence - No e-mail addresses - Language barrier - Inability to provide written informed consent - Surgery in the last four weeks - Surgery planed until the index surgery - Nutritional Risk Screening above 2 - Imprisonment - Pregnant - Breastfeeding
