Exclusion criteria: No exclusion criteria for the retrospective analysis of billing data from the Thuringia Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The primary endpoint is the rate of diabetic retinopathy screenings performed among all eligible patients with diabetes mellitus in Thuringia. The rate is calculated on a quarterly basis. This primary endpoint is determined retrospectively based on billing data from the Thuringia Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.	—
