Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - (formerly) Patients with severe post-acute infection syndromes - (formerly) (primarily) homebound and/or bedridden - Age = 18 years - Sufficient knowledge of German - Ability to give informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Under 18 years of age - Lack of legal capacity - Insufficient knowledge of German

Measure	Time frame
Conducting 20 semi-structured individual interviews with (formerly) severely affected patients with post-acute infection syndromes (PAIS). Approximately 10 participants are expected to be (formerly) severely affected by post-COVID syndrome/Long COVID, and approximately 10 participants by other post-acute infection syndromes.	—
