Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Severe cognitive impairment, legal incapacity, inability to provide informed consent, acute psychosis, acute mania

| - trauma exposure, assessed using the short form of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and the Life Event Checklist for DSM-5 (LEC-5); - Screening for PTSD using the PTSD Checklist for DSM-5 (PCL-5); - Diagnostic criteria and severity of PTSD symptoms, assessed using the Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale for DSM-5 (CAPS 5) interview; - Trauma-related avoidance: avoidance subscale of the CAPS (CAPS-5 Symptom Cluster Severity Score for avoidance), trauma-related avoidance behaviour, assessed using the avoidance subscale of the Impact of Event Scale – Revised (IES-R), maladaptive responses to intrusive trauma memories assessed using the Response to Intrusions Questionnaire (RIQ), trauma-related avoidance behaviour assessed using the Posttraumatic Avoidance Behaviour Questionnaire (PABQ), and automatic and controlled trauma-related avoidance assessed using the Posttraumatic Avoidance Scale (PAS). The PABQ and PAS will each be translated versions of the respective measurement instruments for the purpose of this study. - dissociative symptoms, assessed using the Dissociation Tension Scale (DSS) and the "Fragebogen zu Dissoziativen Symptomen" (FDS; German adaption of DES, Dissociative Experiences Scale); - Severity of obsessive-compulsive symptoms, assessed using the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS), the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory-Revised (OCI-R) and the "Multidimensionales Zwangsstörungsinventar" (MZI; German revision of the VOCI, Vancouver Obsessional-Compulsive Inventory);. - Severity of somatoform symptoms: symptoms consistent with Somatic Symptom Disorder according to DSM-5, assessed using the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-15), the Somatic Symptom Disorder Scale-12 (SSD-12) and a modified version of the "Screening für Somatoforme Störungen" (SOMS) adapted to the time frame to which the items refer; - Severity of somatoform symptoms: symptoms consistent with illness anxiety disorder according to DSM-5, asessed using a modified version of | — |
