Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of central sleep apnea requiring treatment Indication for adaptive servo-ventilation therapy Signed patient information and informed consent form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Lack of capacity to provide informed consent Contraindication to adaptive servo-ventilation therapy

Primary

MeasureTime frame
PLMS index during the diagnostic night as well as during CPAP and ASV nights, assessed using polysomnography

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Long-term effects of PLMS on patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs: fatigue, depression, daytime sleepiness, quality of life) in patients receiving ASV therapy, assessed annually at baseline and during the 5-year follow-up period using questionnaires (Fatigue Severity Scale, Beck Depression Inventory, Epworth Sleepiness Scale, EuroQol-5D)
