Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The study will include experts from the fields of nursing, medicine and perfusion technology who have prior experience in intensive care or medicine and – depending on the study component – proven practical experience in ECMO care. A prerequisite for all empirical study components is voluntary participation following receipt of written study information and consent. For the Delphi method and the focus group, specialist expertise in the context of intensive care and ECMO is required, whilst the quantitative validation study includes nursing staff with current ECMO experience.

Exclusion criteria: Anyone who does not meet these criteria will be excluded.
