Affective empathy (state) following mood induction - Operationalization: MET score for “affective empathy” (mean score according to MET analysis) (Dziobek et al., 2008) - Time point: after video induction - Relevance to the main research question: directly examines whether induced mood alters affective empathy. Cognitive empathy (state) after mood induction - Operationalization: MET score “cognitive empathy” (correct emotion attribution) (Dziobek et al., 2008) - Time point: after video induction - Relevance to the main research question: examines whether induced mood alters cognitive empathy.
