Group 1: Women with gynaecological cancer (including breast cancer) complete a questionnaire on a one-off basis
a subgroup of these women take part in a one-off interview.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Capacity to consent • Confirmed cancer diagnosis (ICD-10: C50, C51–C58) • Treatment at a breast or gynecologic cancer center within the CIO ABCD network

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Inability to complete questionnaires • Insufficient knowledge of the German language • For qualitative interviews only: Inability to conduct in-person interviews (e.g., deafness)

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective of this descriptive-exploratory study is to examine the digital health literacy of cancer patients, with a particular focus on their use of and experience with (AI-supported) digital applications. The study focuses specifically on women with breast and gynecological cancers.

The following sub-objectives emerge: 1. Descriptively assessing the digital health literacy of oncology patients, with a particular focus on AI-supported digital applications 2. Descriptively determining the proportion of oncology patients who use (AI-supported) digital applications related to their illness 3. Quantifying the frequency and reasons for the use of (AI-supported) digital applications by cancer patients in relation to their illness (descriptive) 4. Analyzing patient-specific (clinical, sociodemographic) differences associated with digital health literacy. descriptive 5. The investigation of cancer patients’ experiences with the use of (AI-supported) digital applications in relation to their illness. exploratory 6.
