Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with a mild or moderate depressive episode or recurrent depressive disorder with a current mild or moderate episode

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: No depression Severe depression Acute suicidal ideation

Measurement points: T1 (before the single psychoeducational session), T2 (after the single psychoeducational session), EMA/EMI phase (over 14 days following T2, twice daily), follow-up (after the EMA/EMI phase) Change in perceived controllability of depressive symptoms (Brief Illness Perception Questionnaire (B-IPQ), T1, T2, EMA/EMI phase, follow-up) Depressive symptoms (Beck Depression Inventory Revision (BDI-II) at T1, follow-up) Depressive Symptoms (Short Version) (Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-2), for the EMA/EMI survey) Treatment expectations (Generic Rating Scale for Previous Treatment Experiences, Treatment Expectations, and Treatment Effects (GEEE), at all measurement time points) Self-stigma associated with depression (Self-Stigma of Depression Scale (SSDS-D), at T1, T2, during the EMA/EMI phase, and at follow-up)
