Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for patients: - Primary diagnoses according to ICD-10 1) F32, F33 2) F43.1 3) F50 4) F45 5) F40, F41 6) F42 7) F60.3 - Informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: General exclusion criteria - Schizophrenia, mania, or delusional depression - Current substance abuse (except for nicotine and medically prescribed amphetamines) - BMI = 14 - Pregnant or currently breastfeeding individuals - Severe cognitive impairment - Insufficient German language skills to complete the questionnaires - Acute suicidal ideation - Acute infection/recent vaccinations or known chronic inflammatory disease (relevant for inflammation markers) Exclusion criteria for the healthy control group: - Current presence of a mental disorder - Severe traumatic experiences in the past
