Group 1: Retrospective monocentric study with evaluation of existing cardiac MRI datasets including T1-/T2-mapping of the pericardium in 30 patients with confirmed actue pericraditis.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: MRI with STIR hyperintensity and late enhancement in the pericardium without evidence of myocarditis (according to modified Lake Louise criteria). Availability of T1-/T2-sequences. Diagnosis of acute pericarditis in the clinical context. Age = 18 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Incomplete imaging data. Missing mapping sequences. Poor image quality. Patients with coexistence of other myocardial pathologies.
