Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Confirmed diagnosis of acute leukemia (ALL or AML) • Initial clinical and/or radiological suspicion of osteomyelitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Missing or incomplete clinical documentation

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective of this study is the descriptive analysis of clinical, laboratory, and imaging characteristics of pediatric patients with acute leukemia who initially presented with osteomyelitis-like symptoms.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• assessment of the median time interval between initial presentation and leukemia diagnosis, • analysis of typical MRI patterns in this clinical context, • identification of potential warning signs (“red flags”) that may prompt early consideration of an underlying hematologic malignancy.
