Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Adult patients with primary diagnosis of CRC presenting at CRC Center of CCCF planned for elective surgery - Adult patients with planned elective, non-oncologic visceral surgery presenting for prehabilitation prior to surgery - Adult non-CRC cancer patients referred by other clinics / centers to our OMB-program

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Minor patients (< 18 y.) - Pregnancy - History of uncontrolled substance abuse - Severe cardiovascular comorbidity that prevents individual exercise - Language or cognitive limitations that prevent an independent completion of questionnaires

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
- feasibility of prehabilitation - pre-operative weight loss continuous and proportion of patients achieving = 5% as compared to baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
- proportional increase of muscle mass - operability score, complication rate - quality of life, daily function, engagement, activation, distress, - metabolic risk factor improvement (HbA1c, lipids, blood pressure, OSAS) - investigation of molecular metabolic subtypes - adherence and acceptance factors
