Group 1: A retrospective analysis of all patients who underwent surgical revision of the orbital floor between January 2020 and January 2026.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria comprised a radiologically confirmed orbital floor fracture, treatment during the study period, postoperative imaging, and adequate clinical documentation in the patient’s medical records.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included incomplete radiological or clinical documentation, as well as missing data on key examination parameters.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The occurrence of postoperative eye movement disorders and the perception of double images are assessed by means of a clinical examination on the 1st, 3rd and 7th postoperative days.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
• Occurrence of post-operative sensory disturbances in the face • Occurrence of post-operative displacement of the eyeball • Radiological defect size following surgery • Need for surgical revision (yes/no)
