Group 1: Retrospective analysis of all patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck between January 2014 and December 2024 to investigate patterns of metastasis.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Histologically confirmed cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck; diagnosis between January 2014 and December 2024; available staging data including documented N and/or M status

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non-cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma; primary tumors outside the head and neck region; missing histological confirmation; incomplete or non-evaluable data sets

Measure	Time frame
The aim of the study is the systematic assessment and analysis of patterns of metastasis in patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. The occurrence, localization, and distribution of locoregional and distant metastases, as well as the metastasis rate within the study cohort, are evaluated during the period from January 2014 to December 2024. Data are collected retrospectively from electronic patient records, clinical documentation, histopathological findings, and available clinical reports.	—

Furthermore, the relationship between clinicopathological and patient-related parameters and specific metastatic patterns is analyzed. Data are collected retrospectively from medical records within the defined study period.	—
