MeasureTime frame
Thiamine blood levels (comparison of both measurement methods) measured preoperatively, at the initiation of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), postoperatively, and daily for an additional three days postoperatively. Blood sampling was performed at time points coinciding with routine clinical blood draws, and analysis was carried out using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and a functional microbiological assay (ID-Vit®). Blood sampling: 1: Prior to the start of surgery, at the time of venous access placement 2: After 50% of the cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) duration 3: Upon admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) postoperatively 4: Six hours after admission 5: The following morning at 6:00 a.m. 6: After an additional 24 hours 7: After a further 24 hours
